Refund & Cancellation Policy
Plain version: cancel anytime, full refund within 14 days of first purchase, no questions. No prorating after that — you keep access until the end of the billing period you already paid for. We don't do annual auto-renewals without warning. We don't hide the cancel button.
Cancellation
- Cancel from Dashboard → Settings → Billing → Manage subscription at any time. The button is always there; you don't need to email anyone.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep premium features until that date.
- After the period ends, your guild drops to the free tier automatically. No data is deleted — your settings, ticket history, audit log, and AutoMod rules all stay. Restore premium any time by re-subscribing.
- If your subscription is annual, you can also opt to keep it active until renewal but disable auto-renewal — same place, same one click.
Refunds
14-day money-back on first purchase
If this is your first paid month or first paid year on Sloth Lee and you cancel within 14 days, we'll refund the full amount. No interrogation, no “why are you leaving” loops.
Email billing@slothlee.xyzfrom the address on your account, mention “14-day refund”, and the money is back on your card within 5 business days.
After 14 days
We don't prorate. If you cancel mid-cycle on day 20 of a monthly subscription, you keep the bot until the cycle ends — we don't refund the unused 10 days, but we don't bill you again either.
Annual cancellations: same — you keep premium until the year ends. We don't refund the remaining months. The annual discount is what it is precisely because of that commitment; a partial refund would unwind it.
When we will refund outside the 14-day window
Three cases. Each handled by email to billing@slothlee.xyz:
- Service degradation.If Sloth Lee was materially down for a meaningful portion of the billing period (more than 4 hours total of unavailability with no public-status acknowledgment), we'll prorate a credit or refund. Verified against /status incidents.
- Billing error on our side. Double-charge, wrong tier billed, currency conversion mistake, etc. Refunded in full, fast.
- Fraud / unauthorised charge.If your card was used by someone who didn't have permission, contact us and we'll process the refund + permanently disable the affected payment method on the account.
Chargebacks
Please email us before disputing through your card issuer. Most things we can fix in a single reply, faster than a chargeback would resolve. If you do dispute, the affected account is suspended pending the bank's decision per our Acceptable Use Policy. Repeated chargeback abuse is grounds for permanent termination.
Free tier and trials
The free tier never bills, never expires, and never asks for a card. Anything labelled a “trial” (7 or 14 days, depending on context) ends without charging unless you explicitly upgrade — we don't auto-convert trials to paid.
Tax and currency
Prices are listed in USD. Stripe handles currency conversion and applicable VAT/GST/sales tax for your billing region; whatever appears on your card is what your bank converted at that day's rate plus any tax. We don't add hidden fees. We don't charge restocking, processing, or cancellation fees.
How to ask
Email billing@slothlee.xyzfrom the address on your account. Include the order ID from your Stripe receipt and what you'd like us to do. We respond within 1 business day on weekdays, 2 business days on weekends. No ticket numbers, no automated chatbot — a human reads your email.
