Acceptable Use Policy
These are the things we'll terminate a Sloth Lee account for. Specific rather than vague. Same floor for everyone — no special exemptions for paying customers, large communities, or long-time users. If your server breaks one of these rules, the bot leaves; your dashboard access goes with it.
What we will terminate accounts for
Child safety
- Sharing, soliciting, or facilitating access to child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Reported to NCMEC; account banned; we cooperate with law enforcement.
- Servers organised around grooming, sexualising, or targeting minors in any form. Includes communities that knowingly tolerate it.
Coordinated harm
- Using Sloth Lee to organise raids, brigades, mass-DM campaigns, or coordinated harassment against other Discord servers, individuals, or platforms.
- Operating as a hub for stalking, doxxing, or threats of violence.
- Recruitment for, or coordination of, real-world violence or terrorism.
Fraud and financial harm
- Phishing, scam-bot networks, fake giveaways, fake-support impersonations, or any setup designed to extract money or credentials from Discord users.
- Crypto pump-and-dump rooms, NFT wash-trading communities, or any server whose primary purpose is to move other people into financial loss for the operator's benefit.
- Stripe chargeback abuse — repeatedly disputing legitimate charges to retain service.
Platform abuse
- Reverse-engineering Sloth Lee, scraping our endpoints beyond documented rate limits, or using credentials issued to one account to operate another.
- Deliberately bypassing rate limits, billing controls, or tier gates. Includes “creative” multi-account arrangements designed to avoid paying.
- Selling or sublicensing Sloth Lee access to third parties without our agreement.
- Using Sloth Lee to violate Discord's own Terms of Service or Community Guidelines. Their floor is also our floor.
Hateful conduct
- Hate-targeted servers (organised around racial, religious, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national-origin attack content).
- Servers that exist to dehumanise specific groups — even if the “moderation” framing is used to justify it.
How enforcement works
- Severe violations (CSAM, real-world violence threats, large-scale fraud): immediate termination, no warning.
- Other violations: we'll notify the server owner via the email associated with their dashboard account, with the specific rule and the evidence. 72 hours to respond before suspension.
- Appeals: any termination can be appealed via email to
appeals@slothlee.xyz. We commit to a response within 10 business days. - Data after termination: same as everyone else. Account-export remains available for 30 days; after that, the data is purged per the retention schedule in our privacy policy.
What this policy does not cover
- Disagreements between server members. Your mods handle that. Sloth Lee is the toolkit; you set the tone.
- Adult content (NSFW)in age-gated channels on age-restricted servers, where Discord's own ToS permits it. We don't police what consenting adults do in clearly-labelled spaces.
- Edgy humour, controversial opinions, political debate. Not our job to referee.
Reporting violations
If you believe a server using Sloth Lee is breaking this policy, email abuse@slothlee.xyz with: the server name or invite (if public), what rule you believe is being broken, and (if available) screenshots or message links. We take every report seriously and will respond within 5 business days.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when policy changes. Substantive changes (anything that adds a new termination ground or removes one) will be announced in our changelogwith at least 14 days' notice before taking effect.
